Indication
Serious Gram-positive infections.
Dosage (summary)
Moderate infections: 400 mg IV loading, then 200 mg daily. Severe infections: 400 mg IV every 12 hours for 3 doses, then 400 mg daily.

Onset: 48-72 hours, Duration: Varies by infection.
