Indication

Dosage (summary)
600 mg orally once daily, preferably at bedtime.
Special Populations
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
- Elderly patients
- Children < 40 kg
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; not recommended during breastfeeding.

- CYP3A4 inducers/inhibitors
- St. John's Wort
- Cisapride
- Midazolam
- Triazolam
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to efavirenz
- Weight < 40 kg
- Severe hepatic impairment
- History of liver injury with efavirenz

- Fatigue
