Indication

Dosage (summary)
Apply 2 g to 4 g three to four times daily to affected areas.

Key Drug Interactions
- Lithium
- Acetylsalicylic acid
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to diclofenac
- Asthma induced by NSAIDs
- Porphyria
Common side effects
- Rash
- Eczema
- Headache
- Dizziness
Counselling Points
- Wash hands after application
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Do not apply to open wounds
Serious warnings
- Risk of systemic adverse events with high dosages
- Caution in asthmatic patients
