Indication

Maintenance treatment of COPD.

Dosage (summary)

175 u03bcg once daily via nebuliser.

Special Populations

  • Elderly
  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Use with caution; not recommended during breastfeeding.

Key Drug Interactions

  • Avoid with other anticholinergics
  • OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 inhibitors

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to revefenacin or excipients

Common side effects

  • Cough
  • Nasopharyngitis
  • Upper respiratory tract infection
  • Headache

Counselling Points

  • Do not use for acute symptoms
  • Discard vial after use
  • Monitor for signs of glaucoma or urinary retention

Serious warnings

  • Paradoxical bronchospasm
  • Worsening of narrow-angle glaucoma
  • Worsening of urinary retention
  • Immediate hypersensitivity reactions
