Dosage (summary)
Adults: 20 mg/day; Bulimia: 60 mg/day; OCD: 20-60 mg/day.

- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in pregnancy; safety during lactation not established.
Key Drug Interactions
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
- Thioridazine
- CNS active medicines
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fluoxetine
- Children under 18
- Severe renal failure

- Nausea
- Agitation
- Weight gain
- Insomnia
