    Dosage (summary)

    Adults: Start with 500 mg TID or 850/1000 mg BID with meals; max 3000 mg/day.

    Special Populations

    • Renal impairment
    • Elderly

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Not recommended in pregnancy; limited data in lactation.
