Indication
Short-term treatment of acute exacerbation of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and sciatica.
Dosage (summary)
7.5 mg to 15 mg once daily, depending on severity.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 1-6 hours, Duration: 20 hours

- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation due to risks to fetus and infant.
Key Drug Interactions
- Increased risk of bleeding with anticoagulants
- Increased lithium levels
- Reduced efficacy of diuretics

- Hypersensitivity to meloxicam
