Indication
Symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute sciatica.
Dosage (summary)
15 mg once daily for rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis; 7.5 mg once daily for acute sciatica; 7.5 mg once daily for osteoarthritis, may increase to 15 mg.

- Elderly
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation; may impair fertility.
Key Drug Interactions
- Increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding with NSAIDs and anticoagulants
- May reduce effectiveness of antihypertensives
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to meloxicam
- Active gastrointestinal disease
- Severe renal impairment
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Children under 12 years
