Special Populations
- Elderly patients
- Hepatic impairment

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin
- History of tendon disorders
- Myasthenia gravis
- Children under 18
Common side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhoea
- Headache
- Dizziness
Counselling Points
- Take with a full glass of water
- Avoid antacids close to dosing
- Report any signs of tendon pain or swelling
Serious warnings
- QT prolongation
- Risk of tendon rupture
- Seizures
