Indication
Management of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post-operative nausea and vomiting.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 8 mg orally 1-2 hours before treatment, then 8 mg every 12 hours. Max 8 mg/day in hepatic impairment.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in first 12 weeks of pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding.
