Indication
Management of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 8 mg orally 1-2 hours before treatment, then 8 mg every 12 hours. Max 8 mg/day in hepatic impairment.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 1.6 hours, Duration: 8-12 hours

- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy during first 12 weeks; not recommended during breastfeeding.

- Hypersensitivity to ondansetron
- Pregnancy (first 12 weeks)
- Congenital long QT syndrome
