Indication
Mild to moderate hypertension, congestive heart failure, and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Dosage (summary)
Starting at 4 mg once daily, may increase to 8 mg after one month; 2 mg for special populations.

Onset: 4-6 hours, Duration: 24 hours

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

- Potassium-sparing diuretics
- Lithium
- Fluoroquinolones
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to perindopril
- History of angioedema
- Severe renal impairment
Common side effects
- Dizziness
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Hypotension
Counselling Points
- Take in the morning before meals
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- Report any signs of swelling or difficulty breathing

- Risk of angioedema
