- Clonazepam may exacerbate sedation.

- Hypersensitivity to vigabatrin

- Renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 60 mL/min)

- Regular ophthalmological exams required
- Report any visual changes immediately
- Gradual withdrawal recommended to avoid rebound seizures
