Indication
Routine and immediate reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium or vecuronium.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 4 mg/kg for routine reversal, 16 mg/kg for immediate reversal at 3 mins. Children (7+ years): 2 mg/kg.

- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Obese patients
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy not established; caution in breastfeeding due to unknown excretion in milk.

- Toremifene
- Fusidic acid
- Hormonal contraceptives
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sugammadex or excipients
Common side effects
- Cough
- Dysgeusia
- Headache
- Marked bradycardia

- Ventilatory support may be required
