One tablet orally once daily, without regard to food.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; potential risk of neural tube defects.
Key Drug Interactions
- Rifampicin decreases dolutegravir levels
- Metformin is contraindicated
- Avoid co-administration with dofetilide and pilsicainide
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Impaired renal failure
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Women of child-bearing age not using effective contraception
- Moderate and severe hepatic impairment

- Nausea
- Headache
- Fatigue

- Monitor for signs of lactic acidosis

- Lactic acidosis and severe hepatomegaly reported
- Risk of opportunistic infections
