Indication

Dosage (summary)
Herpes zoster: 1000 mg TID for 7 days; Genital herpes: 500 mg BID for 5 days.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety not established; caution advised during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to valaciclovir or aciclovir

- Vomiting
