Indication

Dosage (summary)
Starting dose: 3.5/2.5 mg once daily; may increase to 7/5 mg or 14/10 mg if needed.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications
- Severe renal impairment
- History of angioedema
- Hypersensitivity to active substances
- Severe hypotension
Common side effects
- Dizziness
- Cough
- Oedema
Counselling Points
- Take in the morning before meals.
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Report any signs of swelling or difficulty breathing.
Serious warnings
- Risk of angioedema
- Hypotension in volume-depleted patients
- Dual blockade of RAAS increases risk of adverse effects
