Not established; avoid unless necessary. Contraindicated in breastfeeding.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to bupropion
  • Seizure disorder
  • Patients under 18 years
  • Bulimia or anorexia nervosa
  • Moderate to severe hepatic cirrhosis

  • Insomnia
  • Headache
  • Dry mouth
  • Increased blood pressure
