4.1 Therapeutic indications
Symptomatic relief of a sore throat.
4.2 Posology and method of administration
Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. Not more than 8 lozenges to be sucked in any 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 years. Lignocaine may impair swallowing, and increase the risk of aspiration. Local anaesthetics should be should be used with caution patients with epilepsy, impaired cardiac conduction, shock or with liver damage, patients with myasthenia gravis are particularly susceptible to the effects of local anaesthetics. When a sore throat persists for more than two days, or is accompanied by headache, nausea or vomiting, consult your doctor.
4.3 Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
4.6 Fertility, pregnancy and lactation
If pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor before using this product.
4.9 Overdose
Treatment is supportive and symptomatic.
