Treatment of primary dysmenorrhoea.

Dosage (summary)

500 mg every 8 hours for a maximum of 3 days.

Special Populations

  • Elderly
  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Avoid in late pregnancy; not recommended during breastfeeding.

  • Warfarin
  • Lithium
  • Corticosteroids
  • SSRIs

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs
  • History of gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Active peptic ulcer
  • Severe renal impairment
  • Heart failure
