Indication
Prevention of active tuberculosis in high-risk patients with latent tuberculosis infection.
Dosage (summary)
Once-weekly for 12 weeks; adults: rifapentine 900 mg, isoniazid 15 mg/kg; children: rifapentine based on weight, isoniazid 25 mg/kg.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to potential harm.

- CYP3A4 inducers/inhibitors
- Antiretroviral therapy

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to rifapentine or isoniazid
- Acute or chronic liver disease
- Severe renal failure
- Alcoholism
