Indication
ADHD in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years with inadequate response to methylphenidate.
Dosage (summary)
Starting dose: 5 mg once or twice daily, max 20 mg daily, titrate as needed.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Insomnia
- Nervousness
- Decreased appetite
- Tachycardia
- Headache
Counselling Points
- Take with or after meals
- Monitor growth and cardiovascular status
- Avoid alcohol
- Report any psychiatric symptoms immediately
Serious warnings
- Risk of sudden death in patients with cardiac abnormalities
- Potential for abuse and dependence
- Monitor for psychiatric symptoms
