Indication
Treatment of infections caused by amoxicillin-resistant organisms.
Dosage (summary)
Children 2-12 years: 25-50 mg/kg/day in divided doses; adults as per infection severity.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 6-8 hours
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use in pregnancy not established; safe in lactation with caution.

- Hypersensitivity to u03b2-lactams
- Previous AUGMENTIN-associated jaundice
