Dosage (summary)
Adults: 600-2700 mg/day in divided doses; Children: 15-40 mg/kg/day.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy not established; crosses placenta. Caution in breastfeeding due to potential gastrointestinal effects on infants.
