Indication
Relief of symptoms in neurogenic bladder and nocturnal enuresis.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 5 mg 2-3 times daily; max 20 mg/day. Elderly: max 5 mg twice daily.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 2-3 hours
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Children over 5
- Patients with renal impairment
- Patients with hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- Other anticholinergics
- Phenothiazines
- Tricyclic antidepressants
- Digitalis
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity
- Narrow-angle glaucoma
- Gastrointestinal obstruction
- Myasthenia gravis
- Prostatic enlargement

- Constipation
- Dry mouth
- Dizziness
- Blurred vision
- Urinary retention

- May cause drowsiness
- Avoid in pregnancy
- Monitor for urinary retention
Serious warnings
- Risk of heat prostration
- Caution in elderly and patients with autonomic neuropathy
