    Indication

    Treatment of schizophrenia and manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder.

    Dosage (summary)

    Adults: Start at 50 mg, titrate to 300-450 mg/day for schizophrenia; 100 mg to 400 mg/day for bipolar disorder.

    • Elderly
    • Renal impairment
    • Hepatic impairment

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Contraindicated due to lack of safety data.
