Dosage (summary)
11.25 mg subcutaneous or intramuscular injection every 3 months.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not established in pregnancy; contraindicated in breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to leuprolide acetate
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
Common side effects
- Hot flushes
- Weight gain
- Erectile dysfunction
- Fatigue
- Bone pain
Counselling Points
- Monitor for signs of worsening symptoms
- Use non-hormonal contraception if needed
- Report any severe side effects immediately
