Dosage (summary)
Initial: u00bd tablet three times daily; Maintenance: 1 tablet three times daily.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Elderly
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; not established in lactation.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Decompensated renal function
- Decompensated hepatic function
- Patients under 25 years
Common side effects
- Nausea
- Dyskinesia
- Somnolence
- Depression
Counselling Points
- Take 30 mins before or 1 hour after meals.
- Monitor for psychiatric side effects.
- Avoid driving if experiencing somnolence.
Serious warnings
- Neuroleptic malignant syndrome risk with abrupt withdrawal
- Somnolence and sudden sleep onset
- Impulse control disorders
