Adults/children: 2.5 mg/kg/day or 50-75 mg/mu00b2/day, adjusted per individual response.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Elderly
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Avoid in pregnancy; excreted in breast milk, do not breastfeed.
Key Drug Interactions
- Allopurinol (reduce dose to 25%)
- Ribavirin (not advised)
- Methotrexate (adjust dose)

- Hypersensitivity to mercaptopurine
