Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 500 mg three times daily or 850/1000 mg twice daily with meals. Max: 2550 mg/day.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in pregnancy; use insulin instead. Limited data on breastfeeding.
