- Digoxin
- Nelfinavir
- Atazanavir
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to omeprazole
- Concomitant use with nelfinavir or atazanavir
Common side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Constipation
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
Counselling Points
- Take in the morning with water
- Do not chew or crush capsules
- Report any severe side effects immediately
Serious warnings
- Risk of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea
- Increased risk of bone fractures
- Hypomagnesaemia
