Indication

Adults: 500 mg three times daily; max 7 days.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not established; avoid in late pregnancy due to risks.

- Increased risk of bleeding with anticoagulants.
- Elevated lithium levels with concurrent use.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to mefenamic acid.
- History of gastrointestinal ulceration.
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment.
