Indication
Indicated for Type II diabetes mellitus when diet has failed.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Start with 500 mg three times daily or 850 mg/1000 mg twice daily with meals; max 2550 mg/day.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; crosses placenta and enters breast milk.
