150 mg to 200 mg daily in 2 to 3 divided doses; max duration 8 weeks.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding; crosses placental barrier.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to etifoxine
- States of shock
- Severe liver/renal impairment
- Myasthenia gravis
- Severe hepatitis
- Severe dermatological reactions
- Galactosaemia

- Slight drowsiness
- Lymphocytic colitis
- Hepatitis
- Skin reactions
- Metrorrhagia

- Monitor for skin toxicity
- Avoid alcohol
