Indication
Relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 120 mg for SAR, 180 mg for CIU, once daily. Renal impairment: 60 mg once daily.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 1 hour, Duration: 24 hours
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Erythromycin
- Ketoconazole
- Antacids containing aluminum and magnesium
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to fexofenadine
- Children under 12
- Pregnancy and lactation

- Headache
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Tachycardia
- Palpitations
