Initial dose 75 mg once daily, may increase to 150 mg or 225 mg as needed.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- CNS-active medicines
- Serotonin syndrome risk with other serotonergic agents
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to venlafaxine
- MAOI use
- Children under 18 years

- Dizziness
