Indication
Treatment of invasive aspergillosis and serious Candida infections.
Dosage (summary)
Loading dose: 6 mg/kg IV or 400 mg oral every 12 hours for 24 hours; Maintenance: 3-4 mg/kg IV or 200 mg oral every 12 hours.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; breastfeeding not recommended during treatment.

- CYP3A4 substrates

- Efavirenz
- Rifampicin
- Carbamazepine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to voriconazole
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Co-administration with certain CYP3A4 substrates
