Indication

Dosage (summary)

Loading: 6 mg/kg every 12 hours for 24 hours; Maintenance: 3-4 mg/kg every 12 hours.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment
  • Elderly

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy; discontinue breastfeeding during treatment.

  • CYP3A4 substrates (e.g., terfenadine, astemizole)
  • Rifampicin
  • Carbamazepine
  • Phenobarbital

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to voriconazole
