Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 2 g ceftazidime/0.5 g avibactam IV every 8 hours over 120 mins.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not established as safe in pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ceftazidime
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
- Severe hypersensitivity to u03b2-lactams
