Indication
To reduce platelet count in essential thrombocythemia and other myeloproliferative disorders.
Dosage (summary)
0.5 mg four times daily or 1 mg twice daily for adults.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 7-14 days, Duration: 4-12 weeks

- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in pregnancy; potential fetal harm. Discontinue breastfeeding during treatment.
