Dosage (summary)
Adults: 1 tablet twice daily, may increase to 2 tablets if tolerated.

Safety in pregnancy not established; excreted in breast milk, monitor infants for irritability.

- Hypersensitivity to theophylline
- Recent myocardial infarction
- Acute tachydysrhythmia

- Nausea
- Tachycardia
- Irritability
- Gastric irritation
Counselling Points
- Take as prescribed, do not crush or chew tablets.
