1250 mg/mu00b2 twice daily for 14 days, followed by a 7-day rest period.
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; breastfeeding not recommended.

- Sorivudine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to capecitabine
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Severe renal impairment
- DPD deficiency
Common side effects
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Hand-foot syndrome
Counselling Points
- Take with food
- Monitor for signs of dehydration
- Report severe side effects immediately
Serious warnings
- Monitor for warfarin interaction
- Risk of severe toxicity in DPD deficiency
