- Renal impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in third trimester; safety in breastfeeding unproven.

- Methotrexate (u226515 mg/week)
- Ibuprofen
- Anticoagulants
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid
- History of gastrointestinal bleeding
- Severe renal impairment
- Severe hepatic impairment
Common side effects
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Dyspepsia
- Nausea
- Vomiting
Counselling Points
- Take whole, do not chew
- Report any signs of bleeding
- Avoid alcohol
Serious warnings
- Increased bleeding risk
- Serious skin reactions
- Risk of Reye's syndrome in children
