Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 50 mg initially, then 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours; max 400 mg/day.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- MAO inhibitors
- Centrally depressant medicines
- SSRIs and SNRIs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to tramadol
- Acute intoxication with alcohol or opioids
- Severe respiratory depression
- Epilepsy

- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Constipation
- Fatigue

- Take whole with liquid, not chewed.
- Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants.
- Monitor for signs of respiratory depression.
