Indication
Treatment of schizophrenia and manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Start with 50 mg on Day 1, titrate to 300-450 mg/day for schizophrenia; 100 mg on Day 1, titrate to 400-800 mg/day for bipolar mania.

- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; safety not demonstrated.
