Indication

Dosage (summary)
The recommended dose of Pemetrexed is 500 mg/m² administered as an intravenous infusion over 30 minutes on day 1 of each 21-day cycle.
Onset of Action / Duration
The onset of action is typically observed within 2 to 3 weeks after the initiation of treatment.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients may require dose adjustment.
- Patients with renal impairment should have their dose adjusted based on creatinine clearance.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Pemetrexed is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to potential harm to the fetus or infant.
Key Drug Interactions
- Caution is advised when used with NSAIDs, as they may increase the risk of toxicity.
