Indication
Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy for epilepsy.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Start at 25 mg nightly, target 100 mg/day, max 500 mg. Children: Start at 0.5-1 mg/kg nightly, target 100-400 mg/day.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding; teratogenic effects observed.
