Indication
Treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
Dosage (summary)
Apply once daily for 4 weeks; max 15 g/day, 100 g/week.
Special Populations
- Severe hepatic disorders
- Severe renal insufficiency
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; caution in breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Erythrodermic, exfoliative, pustular psoriasis
- Disorders of calcium metabolism
- Viral, fungal, bacterial skin infections
- Severe hepatic disorders
- Severe renal insufficiency
Common side effects
- Pruritus
- Skin exfoliation
- Hypercalcaemia
- Pustular psoriasis
Counselling Points
- Avoid application on face and genitals.
- Wash hands after application.
- Limit sun exposure during treatment.
Serious warnings
- Risk of adrenocortical suppression
- Visual disturbances
- Hypercalcaemia risk with high doses
