Indication

Dosage (summary)
cSSSI: 4 mg/kg IV daily; SAB: 6 mg/kg IV daily for 2-6 weeks.

- Tobramycin
- NSAIDs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to daptomycin

- Fungal infections
- Urinary tract infection
- Anaemia
- Dizziness
- Headache
Counselling Points
- Monitor for muscle pain and CPK levels
- Not effective for pneumonia
- Use caution in renal impairment
Serious warnings
- Anaphylaxis
- Eosinophilic pneumonia
- Rhabdomyolysis
