Dosage (summary)
20-40 mg IV/IM, repeat after 2 hours; initial 40 mg for pulmonary edema.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 3-6 hours

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended in pregnancy; contraindicated in breastfeeding.
